Liz W Faber, PhD

Dr. Liz W Faber is Associate Professor of English & Communication at Dean College and Adjunct Instructor of English at Johnson & Wales University. Their research and teaching areas include Science Fiction, Science Communication, Feminist Technoscience Research, AI Ethics, Computer History, Media Studies, Film Studies, and American Studies. They are the author of The Computer's Voice (University of Minnesota Press, 2020) and Robot Suicide (Lexington Books, 2023) and the editor of Under the Mistletoe: Essays on Holiday Romance in Popular Culture (McFarland, 2024). Their current research focuses on gender, labor, and AI.
