Liz W Faber, PhD
Dr. Liz W Faber is a writer, editor, researcher, and teacher. They specialize in science fiction, science communication, feminist technoscience studies, AI ethics, AI pedagogy, computer history, and general pop culture studies. They are the author of The Computer's Voice: From Star Trek to Siri (University of Minnesota Press, 2020) and Robot Suicide: Death, Identity, and Artificial Intelligence in Science Fiction (Bloomsbury, 2023) and the editor of Under the Mistletoe: Essays on Holiday Romance in Popular Culture (McFarland, 2024). They are co-editor for the DeGruyter-Brill series Pop Culture in Context.
Their current research focuses on gender, labor, and AI.
